Dell let you customize various options on your laptop, most, if not all Inspiron's let you customize to a screen that supports 1600x1200+, my laptop is 3 years old in October and supports 1600x1200 and is an old Dell inspiron ;)

DELL XPS > ALL

The inspiron was the mutts, but now they have the XPS as a specialised gaming lappy so no more Inspiron required :)

It's also far too expensive :p

Only downside to Dell is they've gone from having the best tech support in the world to having the absolute worst tech support in the world, the miracle that is outsourcing to India!

I Have never had a problem with Dell, speaking to people in india sucks tho, most the people i know wont use tech support other than for hardware errors mind. Oh and the laptops kicks arse for everything so long as you get an inspiron or XPS to your required spec :D
