As a follow on to the Beeb article on us all being losers, apparently now we are all popular ...

So I guess that means we are all popular losers?

I think this is the same silly bint that did the last article you posted and last week also went on about how games make people dream about killing people and are extremely dangerous but then told us that they actually aren't.
I think she's just a clueless bint tbh

I don't necessarily want my game time tainted with any socialising.
*giggles*
but I have found myself gradually pulling the curtains, not to block out the real world but to chase that annoying glare that catches the corner of the screen.
pfft noob
thats an automatic thing learned when watching TV in the summer!!

Why good news? Because the research, it says, "finally dispels any myths of online gamers as asocial, introverted loners
ofc all gamers aren't asocial, introverted loners
I'm still an asocial, introverted loner even after I stoped playing online games as I have, now I just don't have anyone to talk to...

Sorry, but i break the mould, i take both perspectives, but then i've had some time away from gaming and therefore the challenges, benchmarks for me while gaming are not as important as they used to be. Added to the fact that being off the internet at home means that when I get the chance to play online I am likely to be very social and still have specific means. Yup, I learned to answer the phone and do other stuff while entertaining myself through games, little thing called life and yeah it's overrated too, but gotta do it
