So, I saw the preview of Johnny going after the Silver Surfer and the character intregued me.
So I went online to see about this Silver Surfer and found out a few things.
But one.
I really cannot tell if he is a goody or baddy.
I presume leaving Johnny in space = him to be baddy but well..not sure.
Anyone know?

The Silver Surfer, in the comics at least, was originally the herald of Galactus a planet eating kind of demi god. Galactus was presumed bad as he ate planets but if you liken it to us eating cows or sheep then you wonder if it was more a survival thing.
Due to his association with Galactus then the Silver Surfer was assumed something of a baddie as well but that was never the full story. The Heralds were always taken by force and had their minds tampered with.
The Silver Surfer always seemed to me to be a misunderstood lost soul more than a bad dude. He was searching for something missing from his life.
Not sure about the film though not seen much of it yet.
One of the things about being a former comic fan is that you see the films and wonder how they got the interpretation they did for the big screen. Some things get quite twisted away from the original idea, presumably so it fits better in the film as it is harder to explain things without making the film a boring series of explanations and memories.
