Actually, the Rep system on Freddyshouse rarely gets used and hardly has an impact on posting.

My view is get rid of negative and just leave positive ones, if we really want a fh reputation style.

That's exactly his point though

Even though they now have a reputation system in the style of posting is just as bad as ever, so you're right, it has had no impact at all. This is why such a system is overall completely pointless.

Which is exactly what my point was, you think it will be any different here? Loads of people wont click on the rep.points, except for the fair few ones who wanna enhance their e-Peen

The reason why it's not used on FH is cause the majority of the forumusers doesn't even know it's there. It's a tiiiiny green square below someone's name and an unrecognisable button to approve of someone's post. Here the rating has a more prominent place on every post and gets noticed.
