I downloaded it in 10 minutes, but then again I didnt as it is illegal to download

That might be an effective way to prevent being caught, but it doesn't make it any less illegal. This is especially true if you watch the material first.

I wonder if it might not be a good idea for companies to provide a secure pre-order system (where you can't cancel your pre-order), for people who want to download import versions before their regions' version is ready. That way you could pre-order and then download the item without breaking any rules.

Mmmm.

Film works.

Try to load up subtitles on windows 2000 and it tells me:

To load subtitles you have change the video renderer type and reopen the file.
-DirectShow: VMR7 or VMR9 renderless
-RealMedia: Special renderer for RealMedia, or open it through DirectShow
-Quicktime; DX7 or DX9 Renderer for Quicktime
-Shockwave: n/a

Basically, i want to be able to run the subtitles and the film on Media Player Classic but i need renderers or sommet.

Any help?

Yes my advice to you is buy the offical dvd when it comes out in English.

Options and change to VMR9 renderless and restart player.

I hope the english dvd release still has the japanese voices as well as the english.
