Men more intelligent than women?

Still doesn't really mean anything to me though, as 100 is just a number. If my IQ of 138 is above average, then does that equate to a certain class of profession or something? I mean, does 138 mean I'm on a par with a teacher, or bank clerk or something?
It only shows how you did in that specific test compared to others. There is alot more involved in being a good teacher, bank clerk or whatever then just this numberGandelf wrote:Still doesn't really mean anything to me though, as 100 is just a number. 138 means different things on different tests, the distributions may centre around 100 but the spread varies a lot. I think Mensa uses Cattell III. All it really means is how good you are at doing IQ tests so I'd forget about it really. Dustmen, truck drivers, and members of similar not necessarily academic professions have joined Mensa.
