The day after his dad was put in prison he called his mum at 4am. How he got the number or what happened in that night i have no idea.
But tbh the title of this post isnt the right title, the cops took care of my brother in law and social services prolly took care of Sybren. I was really upset about what happened, still am but so glad he's back home again.

Imo sometimes the british police are ok, but most of the time they are actually useless. The thing which makes me say this tho are the speed camera's and because near me the police spent over £15,000 to chase down a women who was eating an apple while driving just to charge her a £40 fine... stupid

They are not doing that because they need the money, they are doing that because she endangers herself and others in traffic. Most speed controls don't net the money they cost either, still police is doing them.

Exactly, if she was a danger to the public which she clearly will have been else the police wouldn't have bothered then they weren't useless, they were doing their job. The police isn't some company that's trying to make a profit... making a profit isn't their job.

I know that, the point is that british police always drive past people who are using there phones while driving and they do bugger all about it, and they don't do anything while someone is smoking while driving, so why should they go after this women for eating an apple when they don't because of smoking or using a phone
