Lotus Elise

Post by Quinlan »

Hey,

This is a long shot but have to try:

I am looking to buy a Lotus Elise but am having a hard time finding one since not many for sale (and was 1 day late last week for one :( ). So maybe one of you UK people knows someone who wants to sell one. Prefferable 1997 or newer, hard top and low milage.

Post here or send me a PM if you know of someone who doesnt whine about foreign sales. Ofcourse any other country is fine too. I have to export it anyway and import it in finland

Try the turbo version of the vauxhall vx220, elise's are so common ;)

I'd probably go for a Nissan 350Z if I was buying a 2 seater again.

I will DIE before i buy an Opel. Second rate quality cars.

I drove the 350Z a couple of times and just doesnt handle like an elise.

Actually the vx220 turbo uses exactly the same chassis as the lotus, and infact in the past has being scoring higher than the lotus elise on reviews, at least last time I was looking a couple of years ago. It also looks a bit cleaner and less 'bubbly' to my eye, but if you've got your heart set on one then fair enough.

Never driven a 350Z myself, but yea, I imagine they handle like a porker, the attraction is that bit more comfort, suppose its like a TT for men rather than girly girls.
