What is wrong with UK police?????

I know that, the point is that british police always drive past people who are using there phones while driving and they do bugger all about it, and they don't do anything while someone is smoking while driving, so why should they go after this women for eating an apple when they don't because of smoking or using a phone

Imo the police who went for the applelady might be one of the guys who stops anyone who does something wrong. You cannot judge all police officers just cos of one officers actions

Or to be more realistc, the apple lady was probably driving more erraticly than anyone else and posed the biggest danger at the time - just because she was eating an apple not smoking or using a mobile phone doesn't mean she can handle the car whilst eating - if she's waving about the road because she's eating yet there's a guy smoking driving fine or a guy on his phone driving fine then going after the apple eating lady is the right thing to do.

Well the police has to follow the law as well... so if there is a law forbidding eating or using a cell phone but not smoking they can't do anything about it. Don't know what the law says in the UK. In Germany it is clearly forbidden to use a cell phone while driving ( 80 € fine). It is not forbidden to smoke or eat a snack as long as the driver can keep his line and has at least one hand on the steering wheel. You can be hold responsible for an accident though if you do anything else but driving.

But it wasn't just the one, they had to get a helicopter to follow her as these police are also pathetic and can't keep up with some eating an apple

yes, i know the police have to follow the law, the point is, hardly any policeman will go after someone for using a mobile phone while driving when it IS illegal but they went after this women when there is no law saying she can't eat while driving

More to the point, if they had that much force onto her it's clear she was a danger and whatever 'The Sun' or whatever crap you read it in says about it, they wouldn't have got that much equipment and personell onto her if she was driving fine. Do you know how much paperwork police have to fill in for each incident they're involved in to justify their actions

If it would be german burocracy I'd say the weight of the used equipment in paper.

Sadly it seems the chavs out force the police down in grimsby :x Had to go to hospital last year a few days after my 16th after getting basicly jumped by some durgged up chav with around 20 mates(I found out after there was some lame school war or something going on, I got stuck in the middle it seemd :x) Police said theyd ring me the next day to do some photo thingy to see if i reckonised any faces, I got the phone call 1 month later, just said it dosnt matter and hung up :x

had a couple of guys on my roof the other day, trying to break in, the cops came and all they said was: thx guys while we are here with you we cant check out the hot girls behind the casino (where everyone goes out around here).
