Renée Zellweger plays Miss Potter and whilst the story does start slowly, its a lovely tale.
I am not sure how closely it resembles Miss Potters actual life, however when I wiki it, it did seem correct.
It is baed upon the love she felt for her publisher, Norman Warne. Whilst it does touch on 'what happens next' the film does seem to end rather, well, quickly. Yes she does eventually fall in love again and you meet her future husband also her love for the old lands and farms is seen but it does seem to miss out alot.
But all in all, a lovely film
