Lifetime subs may sound like a bargain but there's got to be good business sense behind offering such a thing. Lifetime subs would act as a disincentive to actually update the game. They might make the company more money than normal subs, but only if people over-estimate how long they will play for. They could allow you recover say 25% of the sub if you decide to end it within 2 years to help with that effec...
