I agree with Crom on this one; i've always found dungeons the quickest method of exp'ing (even solo i find this true). I think crom's levelling guide is also quite spot on, ofcourse a lot is dependant on group setup. I'd say for 40-44 check out CF / Frontier Leps, 44-47 scroll farming, 47-50 arti ex...
