after a few problems at the end we killed medus the second time with no deaths.

its 5% spell pierceing IE 5% passive of player SC resists is quite nice as it stacks with CS / traldors / CoZ charges and other items(up to 10%) as for capping.. Jacinas Sash has 5% pierce Atlantis Tablet has 5% pierce Erinys Charm has 5% pierce Guard of Valor has 4% damage Nailiah's Robe has 4% dam...

The best way to get MLXP outside of RvR is to farm Triton Shammy's in Meso. Each one gives 25%ish MLXP and can be easily killed with 3 people. There are 3 shammys in each faction area (near the main mob spawns).
