Re: Who all has pledged or thinking about it?
Thinking seriously about pledging enough to get into the Alpha/Beta stages. Quite excited about this CU.

Guild Wars 2
It's here, it's er ... not really queer tbh. I've been playing GW2 on Gunnar's Hold server since launch a couple of weeks ago. I like it. PvE is pretty fluid, keeps you going. It's kinda like WAR PvE if they had got it right. PvP looks good at the mo. The instanced sPvP battleground type things are ...

Anyone returning?
Hi all. If I understand correctly, I could now renew my old DAoC prydwen account (left before clustering of any kind) and play alongside everyone else on Ywain for 30 days free of charge. Is that right? If so, I have two questions: 1) How many people went to US servers and still play on Ywain? 2) Ho...

I'm so sad to hear this news, Ellen. Malmir just told me. When ToA was released, I was out of work, and I spent far too much time playing DAoC. But they are happy memories, and almost all of them feature Thand (as I called him, never was one for finding out real names, which I regret now). I only kn...

Nice post with all the names, Luinmir :) Pikeh, I saw you again the other night on a Squiggly Piggly I think? Few games you were on a (PUG I think) team that was absolutely owning us then on one or two where we won. Not sure whether I killed you personally (on Peat or Sable) but I was certainly tryi...

I like ... ... being able to RvR at all levels ... the PvE makes an attempt to encourage grouping. WAR bucks the trend of games that end up with all players soloing ... the lack of focus (so far) on equipment. Mind you, this could creep in as people hit 40 and the usual game-breaking obsession with ...

Nothing wrong with alt guilds. Iron Wolves started as an alt guild for Blackland Skirmishers. We did okay :) Thing is, I'd love to join a guild with you, but I also wanna be in a decent sized guild with a fair amount of grouping. Otherwise I'd have started up IW in WAR. Seems to me all the old pryd ...
