Looking at Requiel's last post I can't see how they can do anything other than stick to the 1st April release date.

The reason for the sudden decision by the very large retailer would appear to be due to a major release this weekend and the publisher of this major release paying them a very large amount of money to clear their release schedules. Thinking about it, isn't this a potential breach of UK competition ...

Thanks again Requiel for a comprehensive answer and apologies if I was harsh in my earlier post. TBH though, this sucks that a retailer can dictate release dates like this and I for one will now permanently boycott Game. Never will I pay them another penny. And to another post, yes this does matter....
